SWAK x necklaces, from R200 - R360 each (dependent on the range)
Those who know me well will attest to the fact that I'm not a huge fan of bling. I tend to stick to simple, understated pieces when it comes to jewellery, with the odd exception (case in point: a colourful pearl cocktail ring that I haven't taken off my finger for weeks now!) So it came as no surprise when I fell head over heels with the gorgeous range of SWAK x jewellery (SWAK stands for 'Sealed With A Kiss' - how cute is that?!). I am a huge fan of their simple, yet elegant, sterling silver and gold plated charms that are suspended on delicate, 100% silk cords. What makes this gift even more desirable is the fact that each necklace is strung by vulnerable, young adults who are affected with HIV/ Aids, and that a percentage of all profits goes to the Tomorrow Trust (a non-proft organisation that provides education for students affected by HIV/Aids). An added bonus? All SWAK x products are locally-made. All the more reason to buy one for your mom, sister and each of your girlfriends.
