NEW LAUNCH: Chanel Christmas 2013 Makeup Collection

Oooh, I love this time of year! I literally can't even begin to describe the overwhelming sense of joy (and a little... ok, a lot... of lust) that comes over me once Christmas carols start blaring and tinsel lines the corridors at shopping centers. Christmas is coming! 

And there's nothing I love more than making a wish list... and top of my list, always, is Chanel. There is no Chanel product that doesn't excite me, and this year's Christmas Makeup Collection is no exception.

This seductive collection is perfect for festive parties - I've already got my eyes on a few items to ensure that I look seriously sexy on my next 'date night'. Here are a few of my favourites...

Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre in 'Moonlight' (R560) 
This luxurious powder illuminates your skin, thanks to golden and bronze pearlisers. The perfect finishing touch!

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in 'Fatal' (R380)
I am obsessed with these velvety shadows from Chanel and this shade is ideal for a sultry, smoky eye.

 

Chanel Cils Scintillantes in 'Bronze Platine' (R385)
This product is essentially a 'top coat' for your mascara. Simply apply one coat over your regular mascara for subtle hints of gold on the tips of your lashes. Just as I was thinking that this would work well to bring out the little flecks of green in my brown eyes, I realised that this would look equally amazing on blue and green eyes too. I'm so in love!

 
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in 'La Desiree' (R395)
Velvety, matte texture? Check. Long-lasting colour? Check. Gorgeous, alluring colour? Check, check, check! I've developed a bit of an obsession with bewitching burgundy hues, and this stunner is my ultimate. I've said it before and I'll say it again: no woman's makeup collection is complete without a Chanel lipstick. You simply have to have one (preferably in every shade!). 

Chanel Le Vernis in 'Rouge Rubis' (R290)
Chanel is renowned for their amazing range of nail colours. Those in the know wait with bated breath every year to see what the latest 'IT' polish will be. Chanel nail polishes are so in demand that they often have month-long waiting lists. I predict that 'Rouge Rubis' will cause quite the stir among fashionistas: it's the perfect, classic red. (Stocking filler, anyone?)
