Ok, seriously. How cute are these hand-crafted baby moccasins made of genuine leather with buck skin soles?
I have spoken about my love for baby shoes before, and I fear I won't rest until I've figured out a way to convince hubby that Bean absolutely, positively needs a R200 pair of baby moccs.
The attention to detail on these babies is absolutely exquisite and they look very comfortable. I knew I had to have them the minute I saw them, mostly because they reminded me of a story my husband told me about his childhood: Picture a sweet, strawberry blonde boy who has a completely innocent view of the world, always expects the best of people (and is disappointed when they prove him wrong), who runs around in teeny-tiny shorts and a pair of veldskoen, with a comb pushed into his sock. That's my husband, aged about 7. He still has a positive outlook on life and gets bitterly disappointed when people let him down, but these days he's more likely to wear a pair of denim shorts (with paint splatters) or skinny jeans, with a pair of All Stars. But that doesn't mean that I can't dress our little strawberry blonde Bean in a sweet pair of veldskoen, just like his dada's... I love them SO much!
