Baby Bump: {Week 28}

As I type this I'm days away from the 31 week mark - I can hardly believe how quickly time is flying! Our wedding is in just over two weeks time and next week Thursday will be my last day of work for 2012 (I will be going back to tie up some loose ends for two weeks in January before going on maternity leave - it all seems to be happening so quickly now!), which explains why I've been so quiet lately. What this means for you, dear readers, is that you have not one but three (!) bump posts to look forward to this week.

Week 28 was a very special time for me and I can honestly say that it was one of the best weeks I've experienced during my pregnancy, for several reasons:

 - It marked the beginning of my third trimester.
 - Bean's movements became even stronger and more regular. I can feel every little movement now - the forceful, intentional kicks and even little twitches as he turns in his sleep.
 - I felt really beautiful during week 28 (and still do, to be honest!) My bump is really out there now - there's no mistaking that there's a baby in there! - but I'm not so big that I'm feeling incredibly uncomfortable just yet.
 - I flew to Johannesburg for the last time during this pregnancy (it was also my last flight as a 'miss'!)
 - My mom surprised me by throwing the most special baby shower while I was in Pretoria, and little Bean got spoilt absolutely rotten!
