Christmas Wishlist: Gift Idea Four

Ask any makeup artist or beauty editor what's on their list of beauty essentials, and I guarantee that a good set of brushes will be top of the list. That being said, nothing pains me more than having to fork out between R250 to R600 for a decent brush. I mean, I know that a good brush is absolutely vital for flawless application and I am totally, completely, utterly smitten with my brush collection, but I'll be the first to admit that I don't get quite the same feeling of joy when purchasing a new foundation brush than I might when investing in, say, a gorgeous new fragrance or a super-luxurious new Chanel lipstick. BUT... this year is somewhat different. I recently discovered M.A.C's magnificent range of limited edition, travel-sized brush sets and I am desperate to get my hands on any one of these kits. I am particularly in love with this 'Special Edition' brush kit and, at only R590 for five (five!) brushes and a gorgeous bag to hold your brushes and any other essentials, my inner bargainista is smiling from ear to ear.
