I discovered Emily Schuman's amazing blog, Cupcakes and Cashmere, about three years ago and I've been hooked ever since. Not a day goes by that I don't check back to this beautiful, inspirational blog, and I must admit that Emily's blog is a big motivating factor for wanting to start my own blog. I love Emily's beautiful food posts (these chocolately chocolate chip cookies have become a firm favourite at my house) and her decor posts have me seeing green (how gorgeous is her at-home office?) Considering my love for Emily's blog, it makes sense that her new book, Cupcakes and Cashmere: A Design Guide For Defining Your Style, Reinventing Your Space, And Entertaining With Ease, is at the top of my wish list. The book features original content that hasn't been published on the site, and is perfect for you if you're looking to establish your own sense of style, or if you want tips to reorganise and decorate your home. The book hasn't even hit shelves in the US yet, but is available for pre-order on Amazon (click here). I personally can't wait to get my hands on this one!
