Highlight of the day... booking the model I had my heart set on for my beauty shoot in two weeks' time.

Last night I... cooked a delicious West Indian Chicken Curry while listening to my man play bass guitar.

Current favourite song... I am OBSESSED with 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye (featuring Kimbra). I can't stop watching the video, either.

Right now I am wearing...  My favourite little striped number from Forever New and my Country Road flats (I've worn heels exactly twice this year so far. Miracles DO happen, boys and girls).

Five beauty products I'm obsessed with at the moment...

1. Balm Balm Lip Balm (and more!) is a real treat for dry, chapped lips. I love that it's 100% organic and natural, and that it can be used for any number of things - think dry cuticles, on eyelashes to condition them, rough patches on elbows on knees... the list is endless.

2. I'm on a mission to zap blackheads...for good! My first step was to introduce a toner into my daily beauty regime. I've been using Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner (click here for more info) for about two weeks now and although I haven't noticed a vast reduction in the number of blackheads on my nose just yet, it certainly seems to be working on reducing congestion and excess sebum - I haven't had a breakout since I started using it! I'll definitely continue using this religiously and let you know how it works out.

3. I don't think there's a woman out there who isn't on some sort of quest to find THE ultimate mascara. I personally look for a mascara that not only lengthens my lashes, but thickens them too - and I'm not averse to the odd clump either! ('Spider' lashes are all the rage for Autumn/Winter 2012 - click here for proof!) I've been using Model Co Fat Lash consistently throughout this past week and I'm impressed - the curved wand is one of the easiest to get to grips with, and the mascara creates beautiful length and fullness. I'm hooked!

4. Cera di Cupra Hand Cream found it's way into my handbag a few weeks ago, and that's exactly where it's going to stay!  It's gorgeously thick and creamy - almost like a balm - and yet it absorbs into your skin, leaving hands feeling soft and smooth, in a matter of minutes. I'm sold! This luxurious Italian brand has a wide variety of products (click here to see them) to suit anyone - I've got a few more products that I can't wait to try; I'll let you know what I think!

5. I know I'm not the only one who's guilty of ignoring my body while treating the skin on my face to a number of indulgent lotions, potions, serums and treatments, but since discovering La Mer Reparative Body Lotion, I've turned over a new leaf. I am so, so, so in love with this wonderfully indulgent body lotion - it's light and silky, yet manages to do the job of a super-intensive, super-rich body creme! And it smells absolutely divine too - what's not to love?

I'm looking forward to... a week to do with exactly as I please. Today is my last day at work until next Thursday, and even though the December break was just the other day, I can't tell you how ready I am for a little getaway! I only took four days' leave over the Christmas period, so I'm really looking forward to a little roadtrip!
